about
This song is the sequel of "Burnt at the Stake", from the band's first album entitled "Steamroller"
lyrics
That evil bitch's been burnt tonight
All peasants heading home
They think that they'll sleep peacefully
But the witche's curse unfolds
A laughter from a skinny mouth
Echoes through the land
Call him Reaper, call him Death
Soultaking will be done
[CHORUS 1]
The Reaper's marching through the land
And takes all life in sight
Towns turn to graveyards
Black Death rules tonight
They fight with everything they have
Then all kneel to their fate
Young and old,rich and poor
Black Death knows no name
Pray to god or call the devil
Angels sing no more
Demons running, all in fear
Of The Reaper's deadly roar
[CHORUS 2]
The Reaper's marching through the land
People no more breathe
Torture death and famine
The blessings that he brings
My dearest kids the story ends
In pain as you can see
Rotting flesh and burning bones
Ruled the barren fields
Pestilence did win the fight
One by one they fell
She was raped, burnt at the stake
But the witch had here revenge
[CHORUS 3]
It's dark outside, it's getting late
Off you go to bed
Enjoy your sleep ,you won't wake up
Descendants of the damned
The evil curse lives on and on
He came for you tonight
You won't see the light of day
The Reaper took your life

Shout-out to Max Weber for putting together this kickass little compilation. If you’re looking to check out songs from some of the most recent Ripple Music releases, this is a great place to start. Every one of these songs is absolutely fantastic and serves as a great primer for anyone new to the label. Kirk Gauthier

I can’t believe I’m just now finding this band. I lucked into finding them by reading an old interview with The Skull members Eric Wagner, Ron Holzner, and Jeff Olson (All three formerly of Trouble, too). They’ve been broken up for almost a decade now. Such a shame; they should have and still should be HUGE! The vocalist has some amazing pipes! If you listen to the first song and don’t buy it, it’s quite possible you have zero taste when it comes to heavy music. Jason Gilbert

This record is a wild ride. Perfect for a session with your preferred vice. The song structures vary, but always hold that 70’s psych vibe, with great tone and production quality. This would be epic live, hint hint covid, fuck off!! Justin@BlindMouse
